Welcome to this small village where I have had the luck to pass all my youth.
Since the arrival of my parents in 1960 until today, this small land has always been present in me. This is without doubt what one calls roots.
Saive is located at 10km to the east of Liege (Belgium). It is built on the first hills of the "Pays de Herve" and for a long time preserved the typical character of the small villages girdled by imposing farms.
This website tries to restore the magic of the place as it was in the past and as it may be seen in the present. It will take you to the ruins of the old castle and then will allow you discover from the air its most beautiful landmarks.
